Who Needs FSSAI Renewal?

- Petty FBOs with annual turnover < ₹12 lakh

When to Apply & Consequences of Non-Renewal
Renewal Window
- Apply 180 days prior to expiry up to the expiry date without late fees
- After expiry, renewal is allowed within 180 days with a late fee of ₹100/day
- Post 180 days, license/registration is canceled; fresh application required

Consequences of Non-Renewal
- Operating without a valid license may lead to penalties or business suspension
- Renewal after 180 days requires a fresh application
- Inspections may be ordered before renewal if deemed necessary, unless FBO holds valid certificates from accredited agencies
